When siblings Alice (Livi Zheng) and Ken (Ken Zheng) are forced to leave their home in China, they get a crash course in the difficult life of an illegal immigrant in the United States. However, when an art dealer (Norman Newkirk) takes an interest in the paintings Alice had been selling on the streets of Seattle, the siblings think their luck has finally turned around for the better.
